In an effort to promote educational opportunities and strengthen international relations, the Nigerian government has announced the Fully Funded Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) 2024/2025 Scholarship Awards. This prestigious scholarship program offers Nigerian students the chance to study abroad on fully funded scholarships.

The BEA scholarship program is a bilateral agreement between the Nigerian government and various countries around the world. Under this agreement, selected Nigerian students are provided with full financial support to pursue their higher education in a wide range of disciplines.

One of the main objectives of the BEA scholarship program is to foster mutual understanding and cooperation between Nigeria and its partner countries. Field of Study

  1. Undergraduate study – Law, Mathematics, Agriculture, Sports, Social Sciences, Engineering, Geology, Medicine, Neuroscience, and Environmental Sciences.
  2. Postgraduate level include Masters and PhD degrees in all fields.

Eligibility Criteria

Postgraduate Applicants

Due to the competitive nature of the scholarships, all postgraduate applicants are expected to have a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in relevant field of study. The age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for PhD and all applicants must have completed NYSC program.

Undergraduate Applicants

Applicants for undergraduate scholarship are expected to possess a minimum qualification of Seven Distinctions, including English Language and Mathematics (Only WAEC May/June is acceptable) and age limit is from 17 to 20 years. The WAEC/WASSCE certificate should not be more than two years (only candidates with 2022 & 2023 WAEC results are eligible to apply)

Application Deadline

The application deadline is January 5, 2024.
